From Detroit to Nashville, Austin Scott Rocks – Country Style

Now that Detroit’s greatest weekend of music is behind us, it’s time to reflect on the many great acts we Detroiters had the privilege to experience. The big name stars were all great but if you walked around long enough through the streets of Royal Oak, Downtown Detroit, or the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Novi this past Labor Day weekend, you probably discovered some lesser-known acts that caught you by surprise. Pleasant surprise. For us, one such artist was Austin Scott, a local country rocker who spends as much time in Nashville as he does here in his hometown. He has a big stage presence and the kind of big country voice that makes him stand out in a big crowd. He, no doubt, is heading for big things.
