Detroit Music Station

No one will tell us who made the half-time entertainment decision for tomorrows big game against Minnesota (our guess is Roger Goodell), but whoever it was – certainly does not understand Detroit Lions fans. The artist’s name is Andy Grammer and we know we weren’t the only ones who had to look him up on YouTube when we heard the news. Yes, he does have a lot of YouTube views, but so does MattyBRaps – that doesn’t mean we want him entertaining us at an NFL halftime show. We can think of hundreds of artists with Detroit connections that can perform circles around Andrew Grammer from what we can see on You Tube.

So whether he is there because Martha Ford’s granddaughters think he’s cute or because the Minnesota Vikings do, Andy Grammer better be good because he has the unenviable task of following Detroit’s very own Aretha Frankin, who will be kicking off the festivities by singing The Star Spangled Banner before the game. Ms. Franklin needs no introductions to our followers and we appreciate any opportunity to share one of her videos. Appropriately we have chosen R-E-S-P-E-C-T because that is exactly what NFL entertainment decision -makers desperately need to learn.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!
